Sensible Shoes is a small company that offers small-group walking tours on all aspects of lesbian history in London to lesbian visitors. All our walks have been especially curated by professional Historian, Dr Sara Hiorns. About us
I’m Dr Sara Hiorns, the proprietor of Sensible Shoes of London. I was born in West London and grew up in North London where I still live.As well as a professional historian with a lifelong interest in the city’s history. I am also a lesbian with a great curiosity about the hidden histories of my community’s colourful past. I am an experienced educator and a very personable guide.
